Descrizione
Sarner Holz is a traditional sawmill and a specialised producer of high-quality window scantlings located in Sarntal in South Tyrol, Italy. For many years, the company has stood for reliable quality, sustainable wood processing and a strong connection to the Alpine origin of its raw material.
With an annual cutting volume of around 150,000 m³ of round timber and a team of approximately 180 dedicated employees, Sarner Holz is one of the leading wood-processing companies in the region. Modern production technology, precise quality control and extensive experience allow the company to manufacture products that meet the highest standards of the international window industry.
The company specialises in processing Alpine spruce and larch. These premium raw materials are used to produce window scantlings, facade elements and many other products for modern timber construction. The fine-grained structure, excellent technical properties and natural beauty of these Alpine wood species are particularly valued.
Sustainability is a key part of the company’s philosophy. Sarner Holz processes timber from regional, sustainably managed forests and operates according to recognised certification standards. The raw material is used in its entirety: by-products are used to generate energy in the company’s own heating plant, which also supplies the drying chambers.
By combining regional origin, modern technology and careful craftsmanship, Sarner Holz today stands for high-quality wood products “Made in the Alps”.
