EEN - Enterprise Europe Network

This section presents the services offered to enterprises by the European Enterprise Network (EEN). EEN is the world's largest network supporting small and medium-sized enterprises to boost competitiveness, internationalisation, innovation, and technology transfer. Created in 2008 by the European Union, EEN is a strategic partner to support European SMEs.

The network offers an integrated system of services to help companies identify new business, production, and technology partners abroad; to support innovation and promote the participation of local SMEs in the European Horizon 2020 programme. This is also through the promotion of B2B events and company missions.

In addition, the Chamber of Commerce supports the European Erasmus programme for young entrepreneurs, which aims to help young people make new contacts with foreign companies of interest to them.

The Chamber of Commerce of Bozen-Bolzano and the Institute are committed to local companies, both at the local and at the interregional and European level by acting as a contact point and promoter in other European projects as well. To ensure South Tyrol's long-term positive economic development, it is important to exploit not only the opportunities offered by the European market, but also the support measures promoted by the European Union.

Other important supports for the Chamber of Commerce are the Eurochambres network and the cooperation with the Chambers of Commerce and economy of the Euregio South Tyrol-Tyrol-Trentino, which enable it to represent the interests of South Tyrolean companies on a European level as well.
